Lewis B. Franko, age 68, of Hopwood, Pa., passed away suddenly on Thursday, Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2009 in the Uniontown Hospital. He was born May 1, 1941 in West Leisenring, Pa., the son of the late Michael Franko and Pauline Kremposky Franko.

Lewis was a member of St. Therese de Lisieux RC Church. He was a U.S. Veteran serving in the Army. He was a member of AMVETS Post 103, Hopwood.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Donna Marie Stasia Franko; his loving daughter, Christina Hull and husband Eugene of Hopwood, Pa.; grandchildren: Anthony and Michael Hull; his sister, Eleanor of Bethel Park and a niece, Carla Steiger.

Friends will be received in the KEZMARSKY FUNERAL HOME, 71 Pennsylvania Avenue, Uniontown, Pa. today, Sunday, November 29, 2009, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, November 30, 2009 until 9:30 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Michael W. Matusak V.F., Pastor as celebrant.

Parish Wake Service will be today at 3 p.m. in the funeral home.

Interment follows in Mt Macrina Cemetery.

Military Honors will be accorded by the AMVETS Post 103, Hopwood.
