Ronald E. Victor “Ron”
Ronald E. “Ron” Victor, 65 of Haydentown, Pennsylvania died on Friday, November 27, 2009 in the UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh, with his loving Family by his side. He was born May 7, 1944 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania the son of Edwin L. Victor and Katherine “Kay” (Stewart) Victor of Haydentown, Pa.
“Ron” was employed at Berkley Medical in Uniontown for over 45 years.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman and also enjoyed working in the garden.
He also was a kidney transplant recipient (over 29 years).
“Ron” was a very devoted husband, father, grandfather.
“Ron” was predeceased by his father Edwin; and by his father-in-law Edgar Rhoderick
Surviving are his loving wife of 43 years, Sharon “Sheree” Rhoderick Victor; children: Denise Victor Brundege, Smithfield, Pa., and Jeff Victor and wife Holly, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and four grand children: Renee Brundege, Scott Victor, Evan Victor and Brogan Victor. Also surviving are his mother, Kay Victor, Haydentown; three brothers: Barry Victor and wife Ethel, Uniontown, Pa., Greg Victor, Vanderbilt, Pennsylvania and Brad Victor and wife Diane, Haydentown; mother-in-law, Vivian and Guy Craft of Uniontown; brothers-in-laws: Terry and Shirley Rhoderick, Keisterville, Pa., Kerry and Pat Rhoderick, Grand Rapids, Michigan and Garry and Cindy Rhoderick, Fairchance, Pa.; sister-in-law, Kristan and Mark Stimilio of Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive Friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. today from 7 to 9 p.m., on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Wednesday, December 2, 2009 until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with Rev. George W. McLaughlin officiating.
Interment will follow in Mount Moriah Baptist Cemetery, Smithfield, Pa.
