Cosmetic surgeon speaker
Dr. Jeffrey Antimarino will be guest speaker at Life After Weight Loss Surgery for Pre/Post-op Gastric Bypass Patients and Pre/Post-op Lap Band Patients Support Group meeting from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday in the Community Room at Fayette Home Care & Hospice at 110 Youngstown Road, Lemont Furnace. The meeting is open to those who are considering, scheduled, or have had gastric bypass or a lap band procedure. Each meeting will feature a guest speaker on a topic related to obesity and/or weight loss surgery, a group member testimonial and an open forum for questions and answers. Antimarino is a cosmetic surgeon from the Aestique Medical Center.

Antimarino is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery Inc. He attended the University of Utah, graduated from Pepperdine University in Malibu, Calif., and received his medical degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Neb. At the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, Antimarino underwent training as a general surgeon as well as in his specialty, plastic and reconstructive surgery.
Throughout his training, he has focused on aesthetic and reconstructive surgery as well as burn injuries and wound care. He has received numerous honors and awards, including teaching awards from University of Southern California/Keck School of Medicine and the appointment of administrative chief resident of plastic surgery of the University of Southern California in 2001.
In 2007, Antimarino joined the practice of Dr. Theodore A. Lazzaro, where he specializes in aesthetic/cosmetic surgery of the face, breast and body, as well as skin cancers.
Antimarino holds privileges and is on the staff Excela Health’s Westmoreland Regional Hospital, and Excela Health’s Latrobe Area Hospital. He is an active member of the American Society of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and the American Burn Association.
