Mona J. Reilly, 67, of Lake Worth, FL., formerly of South Connellsville and Vanderbilt, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2009 in the Glades General Hospital, Belle Glade, FL. She was born April 12, 1942 in Connellsville, a daughter of the late James and Margaret Monahan Benford.

Mona had live in Florida since 1988. She had worked as a Deputy Sheriff for Palm Beach County in FL., and had also been a police officer for the Borough of South Connellsville and Belle Vernon. She was a former member of the Immaculate Conception. R.C. Church in Connellsville and the former St. Vincent DePaul R.C. Church in Leisenring.

Mona is survived by her loving children: Donald Mark Reilly, Renee C. Tressler and husband, Kevin, and Sean Robert Reilly all of Lake Worth FL.; her grandchildren: Christopher Tressler and Casey, Roman Tressler and wife, Darbie, and Alexander and Colton Tressler; her great grandchildren: Kyilee and Jasmine; her brothers: Dr. James M. Benford of Connellsville and Dr. Edward R. Benford and wife, Frances of Uniontown.

Family and friends will be received Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., 111 E. Green St., Connellsville, where Prayers of Transition will be held Tuesday at 10 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM in the Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Connellsville, with Rev. Joseph Bonafed as celebrant.

A committal service and interment will follow in the Dickerson Run Union Cemetery.
