Norma E. Morris Zemencik, 80, of Uniontown, died Saturday, October 3, 2009 at the Golden Living Center, Uniontown. She was born April 28, 1929 in Uniontown, the daughter of the late Harold E. Morris and Viola M. Gearing Morris.

In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, George L. Zemencik, a brother, Harold W. Morris and a brother-in-law, Harry Coffman.

Norma graduated with North Union High School Class of 1947 and work over 30 years for Bell of PA as an operator. She was a member of the Uniontown Church of the Brethren where she enjoyed singing in the choir.

She is survived by a sister, Loretta Coffman-Aultman (William) of Lady Lakes, FL; nephews: Jeff Coffman (Renee) of Bristow, VA and Lawerance Semancik (Cecilia) of Dubrois, PA; nieces: Jane Turrill (Robert) of Cannonsburg, PA, Helene Wozniak and Joan Ciccarelli (John) both of Bellen Vernon, PA and Betty Medera (Edward) of Pleasant Hills, PA; brother-in-law, Frank Lindy Zemencik of Bellen Vernon, PA; and several great nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown PA, where the family will receive friends Monday from 2 until 4 PM and 7 until 9 PM. Visitation will continue at the Uniontown Church of the Brethren, 20 Robinson St., Uniontown on Tuesday from 10 until 11 AM, a service celebrating Norma’s life will be held at 11 AM with Dr. Vincent Cable officiating.

Interment will follow in the Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
