Beechwood Court hosts picnic for residents, families, friends
Beechwood Court in Uniontown recently treated its residents, families, and friends to a country western style picnic. Beechwood Court is an assisted-living facility with a secured memory care/dementia unit. The facility was decorated like the OK Corral. Residents donned red neckerchiefs and cowboy hats.
A picnic buffet was served all day long.
Frank Geramita, administrator, manned the barbecue grill. Karaoke was provided by K-Dawg and his wife, Becky. Residents sang and danced along to the music. Big Boy Acoustic played live country music.
A country/western gift basket was donated by Caring Mission Home Care/TCM Home Health. Caring Mission Home Care provides supportive services to adults, such as personal care, housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation and transportation.
TCM Home Health provides medical services, such as skilled nursing, medical social workers, physical, occupational, and speech therapies.
Caring Mission is a qualified provider for Southwestern PA Area Agency on Aging PDA waiver program.
