Elizabeth Agatha Andler
Elizabeth Agatha Andler, 84, of Daisytown (Walkertown) died Sunday, October 4, 2009 in the Sunnyview Nursing Home, Butler, Pa. Mrs. Andler was born February 5, 1925 in Linn Station (Redstone Twp) Pa., a daughter of the late John and Mary Kormis Mizerak.
Her husband, Andy M. Andler, died on March 7, 2000.
Mrs. Andler worked at various locations in Washington County and retired from the Centerville Clinics after 25 years of service.
She enjoyed spending time in her garden, tending to her flowers, and especially cherished her family, to whom she devoted her lifetime activities.
Mrs. Andler was a member of St. Agnes R.C. Church in Richeyville, CD of A, and several Slovak Fraternal organizations.
Surviving is one son, Andrew M. Andler of Kodiak, AK; two sisters: Ann Petrowski of Livonia, MI, and Dorothy Kozakowski of Westland, MI; two brothers: Michael Mizerak of Butler, PA and William Mizerak of Butler, PA; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her parents and husband, are four brothers: Steven, Andrew, John and Joseph Mizerak, who was killed in World War II; and one sister, Mary Andler.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in the JOHN B. GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, where prayers will be said at 8:15 a.m. Thursday, October 8, 2009, followed by a 9 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Agnes R.C. Church, Richeyville, with Rev. John Forbidussi as celebrant.
Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Coal Center.
