Items stolen
Several items were stolen from a vehicle parked at a home at 226 Sugar Run Road between 9 p.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday, state police in Waynesburg said. The owner is Craig Alan Moore of Waynesburg. Cumberland Twp.
One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident on Route 21 at the intersection with a rural route at 11:41 a.m. Wednesday, state police in Waynesburg said.
Police said the accident occurred when Stanley Patch, 87, of Masontown pulled out in front of a vehicle driven by Vickie Salisbury, 50, of Clarksville, causing an accident.
Salisbury suffered minor injuries. Patch was cited for failing to yield at a stop sign.
North Union Twp.
State police said Susanne Teslovich, 63, of Smock reported money was stolen from her purse while at a bar in North Union Township between 8 and 8:30 p.m. Sept. 8.
South Union Twp.
Vicki Kozuch, 31, of Somerset was charged with retail theft for allegedly stealing $96 worth of merchandise from the Super Kmart on Matthew Drive at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 28, state police said.
Uniontown
State police said Tiffany A. Hickenbottom, 29, of Uniontown was cited for harassment for an incident involving Michael Hickenbottom, 37, of Uniontown that occurred at a location on South Mount Vernon Avenue at 5 p.m. Sept. 27.
Fayette County
Helen Yocham of Uniontown said unauthorized charges totaling $700 were made to her check card between May 18 and Sept. 18, state police said, noting that the transactions occurred at various placed throughout Fayette County. The alleged fraud is under investigation.
Dunbar Twp.
State police said Justin S. Trump and Matthew S. Burkholder, both of Dunbar, were each cited for harassment and disorderly conduct after becoming involved in a fight at a residence on Lark Street at 5:22 p.m. Sept. 27.
German Twp.
David R. McElroy, 52, of Bruceton Mills, W.Va., was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and other summary traffic offenses following a vehicle crash on Ralph New Salem Road at 7:35 p.m. Sept. 4, state police said.
South Union Twp.
State police said money and jewelry were stolen from a home on First Street between 11 p.m. Sept. 25 and 7:30 a.m. Sept. 26.
Menallen Twp.
State police said a utility trailer belonging to Mel-Court Construction Co. of Michigan was damaged while parked at a construction site on Pleasant View Smock Road between 5:30 p.m. Sept. 25 and 7 a.m. Sept. 26.
South Union Twp.
State police said Melissa A. Lint, 23, of Scottdale suffered a minor injury when a vehicle driven by Brandon L. Lowery, 22, of Point Marion crashed into a deer on Route 119 north of Walnut Hill Road at 12:14 a.m. Saturday. Police said neither Lowery nor two other passengers suffered injuries in the crash.
Dunbar Twp.
Shawn Burnsworth, 28, of Uniontown was charged with harassment and criminal mischief after he hit and cracked a windshield of a vehicle he was riding in with Elizabeth Burnsworth, 22, of Uniontown, on West Crawford Avenue at 11:30 p.m. Friday, state police said. Police said Shawn Burnsworth then punched Elizabeth Burnsworth in the face before exiting the vehicle.
Police said the vehicle belongs to Dorothy Sumey, 48, of Connellsville. Charges were filed at the office of Magisterial District Judge Dwight Shaner.
Dunbar Twp.
State police said a red Roadmaster mountain bike belonging to Kenneth Eutsey of Dunbar Township was stolen from the yard of his West Crawford Avenue residence between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday.
Springhill Twp.
State police said a brown and white puppy belonging to Virginia Robinson of Springhill Township was stolen from the front lawn of Robinson’s Tunnel Hill Road on Sept. 13.
