Dorothy Jean (Colamartino) Spittal, 82, of Ohiopyle, Pa., passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2009 in Conemaugh Hospital, Johnstown, Pa. She was born March 27, 1927, daughter of the late Serggio (Sam) and Edith Granese Colamartino.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, John C. Spittal, January 2009 and her brother-in-law, Dane Bower.

Surviving are four children: John Spittal and wife, Donna of Ursina, Pa., Roger Spittal and wife, Connie of Farmington, Colleen Keberly and husband, Alan of Berlin, Pa., Samuel Spittal and wife, Josephine of Ursina, Pa.; twelve grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and a brother, Joseph Colamartino and wife, Nancy of Monarch, Dunbar, Pa.; a sister, Emelia Davis of Lakeland, Fla.; sister-in-law, Edith Bower of Confluence and eleven nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was a member of Meadow Run Church at Ohiopyle and active in several volunteer organizations.

Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Farmington, today 6 to 8 p.m, Thursday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9 to 11 a.m. the hour of the service with Rev. Kenneth VanSickle and Rev. James Smiley officiating.

Interment will follow in the Irwin Memorial Cemetery.
