Philip Anthony Pepe

Philip Anthony Pepe, 85, of Uniontown, PA and formerly of Exeter, PA and Clarks Summit, PA passed away on Monday, October 5, 2009. He was the son of the late Carmine and Lucia Pepe.

During WW II, he served his country honorably aboard the USS Missouri from its commissioning until the Japanese surrender. Philip was employed as a Business Representative for Amalgamated Clothing and Textile Workers of America until his retirement in 1986.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Eugene, Sister, Theresa, Nephew, Joseph, Son-in-law, Larry J. Papincak, MD.

Philip is survived by his beloved wife, Eleanor; Daughter, Rosemarie Papincak; four grandchildren: Nicole, Michael, Danielle and Lawrence; Sister, Bettina Vacula and several nieces and nephews.

Private funeral arrangements are under the direction of THE SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 680 Cherry Tree Lane, Uniontown, PA., St. Joseph Ministries of Consolation will meet on Thursday at 6:15 PM in the Funeral Home for the family.

Interment will take place in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
