Dick Drury, Sr.

Mr. Dick Drury, Sr., 81 of St. Albans, W.Va. went home to be with his wife and Lord October 7, 2009 in Dunbar Care and Rehabilitation Center. Mr. Drury is retired from WCHS-TV with 39 years of service and a Navy Veteran. He is a member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church, former Sunday school teacher, Cub Scout Leader and Baseball Coach. Dick was a former professional baseball player for the Pittsburgh Pirates for five years.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Mrs. Dolores Drury.

He is survived by his son Dickie and wife Terri Drury of St. Albans and two granddaughters Staci and Bethany.

A tribute to the life of Mr. Dick Drury will be 3:00 p.m. Friday October 9, 2009 at ST. ANDREW UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, St. Albans with Rev. Loretta Isaiah and Rev. Ravi Isaiah officiating.

Entombment will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at ST. ANDREW UNITED METHODIST CHURCH.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to the St. Andrew United Methodist Church 815 Kanawha Terrace St. Albans, WV 25177.
