Lloyd A. Maust, Jr., 64 of Bethelboro, Pa., went to be with his Lord October 6, 2009 at home He was born April 24, 1945 in Uniontown, son of Lloyd A. Maust, Sr. and Betty (Moyer) Maust.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his father and mother-in-law Donald P. and Eleanor Landman, two nephews, Gary Wayne Maust and Gary Maust.

Surviving are his loving wife and caregiver Nancy (Landman) Maust; one sister and three brothers: Patricia Evon of Greensburg, Gary W. Maust and wife Irma of McClellandtown, Richard Maust and wife Sally of Smock and Mark D. Maust and wife Danelle of Upper Middletown; his loving nieces and nephews: Lisa Edwards and husband Greg of Boalsburg, Pa., Julie Trayter and husband Tony of Scottdale, Shelly Gilmore and husband Brian of Perryopolis, Bethanie Hoff and husband Will of Star Junction, Gina Gilmore of Greensburg, Jacob, Brittney, Logan, Leyton Maust of Smock; his great nieces and nephews: Jackson and Ava Edwards, Zachary Trayter, Brandon and Justin Gilmore, Travis and Grace Pascale; brothers and sisters-in-law: Donald D. “Jake” Landman and wife Jean of Bethelboro, Patty Payne and husband Bob of Masontown.

Lloyd was a member of Uniontown Free Methodist Church. He graduated from Uniontown High School, Class of 1964. He had been employed with U.S. Steel Invin Works, Lockheed Aircraft and Fox Grocery. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during Vietnam, held membership with Fayette Co. Vietnam Veterans, North Union V.F.W., Post 8543, AMVETS Post 103, Hopwood and American Legion Post 51 Uniontown. He also was a member of Hutchinson Sportsmen’s Club, S. Connellsville Rod and Gun Club, Amend Gun Club and a member of West Leisenring Fire Dept. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood Frday 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Visitation continues Saturday in UNIONTOWN FREE METHODIST CHURCH from 10 to 11 a.m., the Hour of the Service with Pastor Aaron Peternel and Pastor Eugene Cowsert and Superintendent James Jobes officiating.

Vietnam Veterans of Fayette County will hold services Friday at 7:30 p.m. and will also conduct military serves at graveside.

Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Uniontown Free Methodist Building Fund.
