David Joseph Leone
David Joseph Leone, 52, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away peacefully Friday evening, October 9, 2009 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 7, 1957 in Uniontown the son of Eugene and Delores Cicconi Leone.
David was a member of St. Therese de Lisieux R.C. Church and a graduate of Uniontown Area High School. He earned his Bachelors of Science Degree in Mining Engineering from Penn State University in 1979 and received his Professional Engineering State License in 1988. Dave was an Engineering Consultant; he owned Strategic Waste Solutions and also Pro Clean Restoration. He was a board member on the Greater Redstone Clean Water Initiative. He was an avid runner and he was a member of the Dirty Old Men Hunting Camp. In 1986 he attained first degree black belt Sho Dan with the Japanese Karate Association. He was also a Real Estate Investor. David loved to design buildings and create. He helped others and was a true friend to everyone he came in contact with. David was Godfather to Nick Leone and Tyler Ruda.
He is survived by his loving parents: Eugene and Delores; his devoted and beloved wife, Lisa A. Trincia Leone; his loving brothers: Donald Leone and wife, Lauren of Smock, Pa., Joseph Leone and wife, Marian of Belle Vernon, Pa.; his mother-in-law and father-in-law: Margaret and Anthony Trincia; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Marla Trincia, Fran and Rick George, David and Toni Lynn Sheba all of Uniontown and Luciano Trincia of Virginia; nieces and nephews: Janelle and Nick Leone and Dominic, Mario and Geno Leone; special friend, Vincent Ficara; other relatives and many loving and devoted friends.
Friends will be received in the KEZMARSKY FUNERAL HOME, 71 Pennsylvania Avenue, Uniontown, Pa. today, October 12, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday morning, October 13, 2009 until 9:15 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Therese de Lisieux R.C. Church with Msgr. Michael W. Matusak V.F., Pastor as celebrant.
Parish Wake Service will be held today, October 12, 2009 at 3 p.m. in the funeral home.
Entombment follows in Mt Macrina Cemetery.
