Dwayne S. Clark
Dwayne S. “Scotty” Clark, age 51, of Mineral, Virginia passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2009 in Prince William Hospital, Manassas, Virginia following a lengthy illness. He was born at Uniontown, Pennsylvania on September 13, 1958 the son of Frances Provance Clark and the now late Richard D. Clark.
“Scotty” was a member of the American Legion and the F.O.M. both in Florida. He was a Cartographer for N.O.A.A. Department of Commerce.
He loved all types of music and had a real passion for both vintage and antique automobiles and enjoyed his time spent restoring them.
He is survived by his mother Frances Clark with whom he made his home; his children: Sara Marie Perry of Alexandria, Virginia, Amanda Grace Clark and Richard W. Clark both of Richmond, Virginia; four grandchildren; one sister, Cheryl Shannon and husband Cliff of Nokesville, Virginia; a brother, Richard “Andy” Clark and his wife Mary Lynn of Spotsylvania, Virginia; and a number of aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends in the JOHN F. BROWNFIELD FUNERAL HOME located in Smithfield, Pennsylvania on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday, October 17, 2009 until 11 a.m. when Services will be conducted with the Rev. George W. McLaughlin officiating.
Interment will follow in Mount Moriah Cemetery, Smithfield, Pennsylvania.
