Clarksville man faces sexual assault charges

By The 1 min read

JEFFERSON TWP. – A Clarksville man is facing multiple charges for allegedly sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl at a location in Jefferson Township, Greene County. State police Trooper John R. Simko said William McKinley Hunter, 57, of 7 Locust St. was charged before Magisterial District Judge Glenn Bates with indecent sexual assault and related offenses.

According to Simko, the charges were filed after Hunter groped the teen and forced himself on her inside her home Sept. 11.

The Herald-Standard does not identify the alleged victims of sexual assault.

A preliminary hearing for Hunter will be held at a later date before Bates.

Court records indicate only two prior arrests for Hunter for passing bad checks in Washington and Greene counties.
