0000363686-01-1.jpg Edna Hall Melvin, 76, of Buffington, Pa. passed away in the Mon Valley General Hospital, Saturday, October 17. She was born May 18, 1933, to the late Fred Williams and Eva Wilson Williams in Mt. Pleasant, Pa.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Isaac Melvin, her children, Etta Hall, Elain Hall and Betty Hall McBeth.

She leaves to mourn her passing her children: Edna Brown of Buffington, Linda Royster (Al), Adah, Pa., Davis Hall III of Uniontown, William Hall (Sabrina) of Buffington, Pa., Dale Hall of Brownsville, Jamie Hall of Uniontown, Cherlott Melvin of Fairchance, Eddie Hall of Uniontown and Gerald Hall of Brownsville. Siblings: Robert Williams, Richard Williams, Patricia Hopkins, Carol Runnels, William Williams, Larry Williams, Beverly Williams and Ruth Ford; 22 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Mrs. Melvin was a graduate of Penn State where she earned her degree in early childhood education and went on to work for Head Start. She also owned and operated the Haven House in New Salem and M and M Lounge in Republic, Pa

Friends will be received in the NEW BEGINNINGS FULL GOSPEL CHURCH OF UNIONTOWN, 93 Jefferson St., today, October 21, 2009 from 4-8 p.m. where services will be held Thursday. October 22, 2009 at 11 a.m.

Interment will follow immediatly after in the Salem View Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the LANTZ FUNERAL HOME, INC., 297 E. Main St., Uniontown, Pa.
