Lane E. Blackson
0000363859-01-1.jpg Lane E. Blackson, age 31, of Mount Pleasant, Bullskin Township, Pa., went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 20, 2009. He was born March 30, 1978 in Greensburg, Pennsyl-vania the son of Lloyd Blackson III of Hecla, Pennsylvania and his special friend Lois Sadler and Bonnie Eutsey Reagle and her husband Warren of Elwood City, Pennsylvania.
Lane graduated in the Class of 1996 from Mount Pleasant Area High School.
He was a self-employed co-owner of Blackson LLC.
He attended Wooddale Bible Brethren Church in Wooddale.
Lane was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Gay Ewing Eutsey.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Jackie Lehman Blackson; one son, Levi E. Blackson at home; his brother, Lee E. Blackson and companion Marianne Schulteis of Mount Pleasant, Pa.; by his maternal grandmother, Marlene Eutsey of Scottdale, Pennsylvania; paternal grandparents: Maxine Blackson of Coal Center, Pa., and Lloyd E. Blackson Jr. of Coal Center, Pa.; his father-in-law, William Lehman and his companion Renee, Vanderbilt, Pa.; his mother-in-law, Bobbi Tush and her husband Jim of New Salem, Pa.; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Mary Jo Payton of Vanderbilt, Marcy Tabaj and her husband John “Toby” of New Salem, Pa., Shawn Rafitz and her husband Frank of Grindstone, Pa., Beth Ann Smith of Vanderbilt, Pa., and June Smith of Vanderbilt, Pa.; five nephews: Clinton Payton Jr., Chad Payton, Chase Payton, John Tabaj III and Hunter Rafitz; his nieces: Alexis Tabaj, Alyssa Tabaj and Clara Rafitz; and many aunts, uncles and cousins and their extended families.
Friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., 406 East Washington Street, Mount Pleasant, Pa., where Services will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at 12 Noon with the Rev. Geary Witt officiating.
Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Kecksburg, Pennsylvania.
Visitation was also held on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the family for a fund that will be established for his son, Levi.
It is the wish of the family that all in attendance at the visitation and funeral come in casual attire and dress.
