PennDOT lists work schedule

Chris Sleighter, Fayette County manager with the state Department of Transportation, has announced the following tentative work plans for the week beginning Monday. n The bridge crew will be performing deck repairs on state Route 1058 (County Line Road).

n Inlet repairs are scheduled on state Route 819 (Dickerson Road).

n Patching is scheduled on state Route 281 (Mae West Road) and state Route 381 (Indian Head Road).

n Patching bridge crossings is scheduled on state Route 1049 (Eighty Acres Road)

n Pipe flushing is scheduled on state Route 40 in the Summit Mountain area.

n Patching pipe crossing is scheduled on state Route 1055 in the Dunbar Mountain area.

n Crack sealing is scheduled on state Route 119 from Smithfield to Morris Crossroads; state Route 2040 (Main Street in Uniontown) and state Route 51 from Smock to Tippecanoe Road.

n Signs will be updated, downed signs will be replaced and work orders will be addressed on various state routes throughout the county.

All maintenance activities are conducted as the weather permits. PennDOT said motorists should drive with caution throughout all work areas and be alert for signed work zones requiring the use of headlights.
