Trunk or Treat event scheduled

By Herald Standard Staff 1 min read

Pennsville Baptist Church is hosting a fun family fall activity for the community on Saturday. Trunk or Treat (where people decorate the trunks of their cars and hand out treats) provides a safe environment for children to enjoy the treats of the season along with fun and games – all in one place. This year, the fun will include a trunk-decorating contest (where the best dressed trunk will win a prize), games and activities (including face painting and balloon animals), and prizes for the most original costumes for children. The second annual Trunk or Treat will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Pennsville Baptist Church parking lot. Hot cocoa, cider, coffee, and cookies will be provided. The church is asking that no violent, scary, or evil costumes be worn. For more information, visit the church Web site, pennsvillebaptist.com, or call the church office at 724-887-5200.
