Frances A. “Nancy” (Mudge) Michels
Frances A. “Nancy” (Mudge) Michels, age 66, of Carnegie, Pennsylvania and formerly of Uniontown, Pennsylvania died suddenly on Wednesday, September 2, 2009. Born November 9, 1942 in Braddock, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of William Mudge and Elizabeth (Dodson) Mudge.
“Nancy” was the beloved wife of James J. Michels Sr.; the mother of Sandra (John Kish) Blondsey, Joyce (Ken) Herring and James (Wendy) Michels Jr.; grandmother of Karen, Laura and Duncan; great grandmother of Jenna and Brian; and sister of Mary Rowley, Jean Harsh, Cindy Shade, Tracy Lacock, William Mudge, Edward Mudge, John Mudge and Michael Mudge.
Family will receive Friends on Friday, September 4, 2009 from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the JOSEPH A. SOMMA FUNERAL HOME INC., 5405 Steubenville Pike, Moon Run, Robinson Township, Pittsburgh, PA 15244 (412.787.1800) where Blessing Service will be held Saturday, September 5, 2009 at 10 a.m.
Interment will follow in Church Hill Cemetery, McClellandtown, Pennsylvania
