Robert Earl Thompson
Robert Earl “Bobby” or “BT” Thompson, age 61, of Greensburg, Pa. and formerly of Tower Hill 2, passed away August 26, 2009. Bob was born October 22, 1947 in Brownsville, Pa. to the late Alfred E. Thompson Sr. and Velma L. Hammond Thompson.
He attended and graduated from Brownsville High School in Brownsville, Pa. Brother Bob as he was affectionately known to many was a wonderful and beautiful person and he was a loving brother and uncle and a friend to everyone. He tried his best to help all those in need and always put a smile on your face when you were down.
In addition to his parents “Bob” was predeceased by a brother, David Lee Thompson.
He leaves to cherish his memory his brothers and sisters: Alfred L. Thompson Sr. and wife, Geraldine of Merrittstown, Pa., Eunice Thompson-Leake and husband, David of Towerhill 2, Pa., Mary A Thompson of Capitol Heights, MD, Edna M. Thompson of Clinton, MD. and James Thompson of Republic, Pa.; a good friend, “Pappy” and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Friends will be received at St. Paul AME church 187 Morgantown St. in Uniontown, Pa. Thursday September 10, 2009 from 4 to 8 p.m. where services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. the hour of service with Pastor Alfred E. Thompson officiating.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the LANTZ FUNERAL HOME, 297 E. Main St., Uniontown, Pa.
