Nora Elizabeth Cramer, 88 of Uniontown, Pa., died Monday, September 7, 2009 at Mt. Saint Macrina Manor. She was born October 30, 1920 in Allison, Pa.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Clinton Hughes and Sarah Elizabeth Ash Hughes, her husband, Gerald M. Cramer in 1969, three sisters, Hilda Barnett, Eunice Parker and Velma Fleming and four brothers, Walter, Lucien, Earl and Glendo Hughes.

Nora was an employee of the G.C. Murphy Company for 16 years and later worked for K-Mart Corporation for 23 years. She was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church and formerly belonged to the Uniontown Golden Agers.

Surviving are two sons: Gerald Alvin Cramer, Sr. and wife, Joann of Baltimore, MD and Edgar Roland Cramer and wife, Shirley of Pomfret, MD, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received in the JEROME W. SHELL FUNERAL HOME, 164 S. Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, Pa. on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday until 11 a.m. the time of service with the Rev. Dr. Joong W. Koe officiating.

Interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Connellsville, Pa.
