Forney-Mukherjee wed in Indiana
The fountain at Tippecanoe County Court House in Lafayette, Indiana was the setting for the wedding of Dr. Aditi Mukherjee and Zebulen J. Forney on Aug. 5, 2009. The Honorable Judge Gregory J. Donat officiated at the ceremony. A Hindu wedding followed on Aug. 7, 2009 at the Hindu Temple of Greater Chicago in Lemont, Ill., with Priest Ram Parsad Shastri performing the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Abhijit and Ratna Mukherjee of Bangalore, India. Parents of the groom are Glenn and Pam Forney of Waynesburg.
In addition to the bride and groom’s parents, the couple was attended by Dr. Ira Sharma and Ralph A. Bunch.
A combination wedding reception, graduation celebration and farewell to friends was held Aug. 8 at Happy Hollow Park in West Lafayette, Ind.
A 2009 graduate of Purdue University, the bride received her Ph.D. in management and has accepted a visiting lecturer position in the Dept. of Information Systems and Operations Management at the Warrington College of Business Administration, University of Florida.
The groom, a 2002 graduate of the University of Rochester, Rochester, N.Y., with a BS in computer science, received his MBA in 2006 at Purdue’s Krannert School of Management and has been employed at Simulex, Inc. in West Lafayette, Ind., for the past three years.
After a short visit to Disney World, they are residing in Gainesville, Fla. A fall trip to India is planned by the new couple.
