Kathy Sue (Collins) Pierce, age 59, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Friday afternoon, September 11, 2009 in the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa. She was born April 29, 1950 in Uniontown, Pa., the daughter of the late Ralph Collins Sr. and Eleanor (Cooley) Collins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Ralph Collins Jr. and Charles William Collins.

Kathy is survived by her beloved husband of 35 years, Kent R. Pierce Sr.; her loving daughter, Roxanne Pierce of Uniontown and her loving son, Christopher Jordan Jr. of Uniontown; step-son, Kent R. Pierce Jr.; her granddaughter, Kiley Pierce; step-grandson, David Michael Pierce and her brother, Larry Collins and wife Peggy of the Poconos.

Graveside Service will be held today (Monday, September 14, 2009) at 9:30 a.m. in the Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
