Adaline F. (Rossell) Tisot, age 85 of Perryopolis, Pa. passed away peacefully Monday, September 14, 2009. She was born August 7, 1924 in Perrypoplis, Pa. daughter of the late Luke Rossell Sr, and Rettie (Cowell) Rossell.

Adaline, also known as “Wink”, “Linnie”, “Addie”, and “Nan” to her friends, was a member of the Little Redstone United Methodist Church, Fayette City and a member of the Little Redstone United Methodist Women’s Society. She was also a member of the Curfew Grange.

She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn A. Tisot of York, Pa.; a son, Christopher J. Tisot of Cleveland, Ohio; and a sister, Mary Jane Tisot of Perryopolis, Pa.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Wilbert J. Tisot and 5 brothers, Clark, Walter, Clyde, Luke “L.F.” (Pete), and Charles “C.W.” and a sister, Elizabeth Baker.

Friends will be received in the BLAIR – LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME, 103 INDEPENDENCE STREET, PERRYOPOLIS, today (Wednesday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, September 17 until 11 a.m. the Hour of Service, with Rev. Kelley Schanely officiating.

Interment will follow in Bowman-Flatwoods Cemetery.
