“Poke” Daniel A. “Poke” Inks, 54, of Hopwood, Pa. died Sunday, September 13, 2009 as a result of an accident.

He was born August 13, 1955 in Uniontown, son of Eileen (Daniels) Inks of Slidell, La. and the late Alva Dale Inks.

In addition to his father, he is predeceased by two brothers, DeWayne and Dirk Inks.

Surviving are his mother and his wife, Debra (Cunningham) Inks; a daughter, Danielle Inks of Uniontown; a son, Dustin Inks of Lemont Furnace; three sisters and two brothers: Darlene Jennings and husband, Dale of Yulee, Fla., Donald Inks and wife, Phyllis of Hopwood, DeAnna Saluga and husband, Jack of Lemont Furnace; Mary Lee Trent and husband, Pete of Slidell, Fla., Douglas Inks of Saucier, Miss. and numerous nieces and nephews.

“Poke” was employed with Kranick Enviromental and was a veteran of the U.S. Marines serving during Vietnam and enjoyed riding motorcycles.

Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood (today) Wednesday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Kenneth Rockwell.
