Bertha T. Foley
Bertha T. Foley, 90 of Waynesburg, Pa., formerly of Clarksville, Pa., died Wednesday, September 16, 2009. She was born July 28, 1919 in Clarksville, a daughter of the late Daniel J. and Nellie (Beglin) Turner.
Mrs. Foley was a 1938 graduate of Jefferson Township High School. On July 3, 1941 she married Earl B. Foley, who died on April 22, 2009. She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending her time crafting, crocheting and doing needle point.
Mrs. Foley was a member of the Clarksville Christian Church and served as their Financial Secretary for many years. She was a past member of the Rebecca Lodge in Clarksville and the Eastern Star in Waynesburg.
Surviving is one sister-in- law, Luella Turner of Florida and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her parents and husband, are five sisters: Evelyn Wilkinson, Annabelle Hackney, Catherine Post, Betty Martin, and June Dawlin; and five brothers: Daniel, Darrel, Leroy, Warren, and John Turner.
Friends will be received from 11-1 p.m., the hour of services, Friday, September 18, 2009 in the GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 42 Bank St. at Crawford Road, Fredericktown with Rev. Charles House officiating.
