Hazel Bush Dayner
Hazel Bush Dayner, 90 of North Belle Vernon, Pa., died peacefully in Mon Valley Hospital on Tuesday, September 16, 2009. She was born on August 28, 1919, a daughter of the late Charles and Sara Miller Bush of Bentleyville (Fallowfield Twp). Mrs. Dayner was a 1936 graduate of Charleroi High School and the Bertha Leonard Business School.
She was a retired Record’s secretary at California University of Pennsylvania. She was a member of the Pennsylvania Retired Employees Association, both the Belle Vernon and Fayette City Golden Agers and the First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon.
She is survived by her son, Dean and wife Mary Kay Dayner; one grandson, Jason Dayner, all of California, Pa.; brother-in-lawClarence Dayner and wife Marge of Ohio and several nieces and nephews including Albert (Bucky) and Dolores Catrino of Ocean City, Md. and Connie and Jerry Bevan of Florida.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard A. Dayner on August 30, 1998, one son, Denny Dayner on August 14, 1962, her sister, Roseanne Bush Pike and nephew, James Pike of Florida.

Funeral services will be in the funeral home Friday at 9:30 a.m. with Rev. David Zona officiating.
Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
