Esther Stoner Wolfe
Esther Stoner Wolfe, age 98, of Star Junction, Pennsylvania passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2009 in Hillside Manor Personal Care Home. She was born June 11, 1911 in Scottdale, Pennsylvania, the Daughter of John V. Stoner and Mary Jane Albig Stoner.
Esther was a member of Star Junction United Methodist Church, the Perryopolis Fine Arts Club and The Daughters of the American Colonists.
Esther was preceded in death by her Parents; by her Husband, Joseph M. Wolfe; and by her Daughter, Olenda Jane Dissinger.
Esther is survived by one Son, Joseph M. Wolfe Jr. of Star Junction, Pa.; Son-in-Law, Dale Dissinger of Quarryville, Pa.; one Grandson, Craig Dissinger and his wife Renee of Landisville, Pennsylvania; three Granddaughters: Karen Wakefield of Columbia, Pa., Rene Wolfe of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Carol Peters of Mount Joy, Pa.; four Great Grandchildren: Kelly Renee Dissinger, Samuel Craig Dissinger, Brandon Scott Peters, Amanda Jane Peters.
Friends will be received in the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME INC., 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, Pennsylvania on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with Pastor Kelley Schanely officiating.
Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pennsylvania.
