Grayling F. Jacobs “Jake”
Grayling F. “Jake” Jacobs, age 53 years, of Connellsville, Pennsylvania died on Friday, September 18, 2009 in Highlands Hospital, Connellsville. He was born May 12, 1956 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, the son of John W. Jacobs and Gladys Shaneyfelt Jacobs.
“Jake” will be remembered fondly for his enthusiasm and his love for the outdoors. He loved to spend his time fishing and hunting in the local area and also riding his bicycle.
“Jake” is survived by his siblings: John, David, Sandra and Linda; and numerous other relatives.
Left to cherish his memory is his lifelong partner, Joyce Lilley, with whom he resided.
Friends were received in the VITO C. MARTUCCI FUNERAL HOME, 123 South First Street, West Side, Connellsville, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Services were held at 1 p.m. The Rev. Lee Maley officiated.
Interment followed in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pennsylvania.
