Mary Ann Layhue
Mary Ann Layhue, 28, of Smithfield, Pa., passed away September 23, 2009 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa. She was born in Uniontown, Pa., on June 5, 1981, the daughter of Robert Lee Layhue and the late Pauline (Fowler) Layhue.
In addition to her mother, she was predeceased by her son, Jonathan E. Layhue and two brothers, Robert Layhue, Jr. and Robert Layhue III.
Mary Ann is survived by her grandmother, Dora Jane Layhue; father, Robert Layhue and his fiancee’, Susan Korhman; brother, Arthur Engle and wife, Jerica; sisters: Pauline Shaffer, Ella Mitchell and husband, Charles, Osabee Engle and husband, Robert “Pete”, Linda Engle and husband, William, Audra Layhue and husband, Ernie and Dora Layhue and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received in the JOHN S. MAYKUTH, JR. FUNERAL HOME, 7 River Avenue, Masontown, Pa. today and Saturday, September 25 and 26, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday until noon, the hour of service in the John S. Maykuth, Jr. Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rose Bircher and Rev. Kelly Layhue officiating.
Interment follows in Maple Grove Cemetery, Fairchance.
