Nancy Ellen Abbott Sumey Little
Nancy Ellen Abbott Sumey Little, age 61, of Hopwood, Pennsylvania died on Friday, September 25, 2009 in West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Nancy was born October 26, 1947 in Marianna, Washington County, Pennsylvania.
Nancy recently retired from the Herald-Standard newspaper in Uniontown, Pennsylvania after 27 years.
She had attended Juniata United Methodist Church.
Nancy was preceded in death by her Parents, Ralph Riggar and Evelyn Abbott Riggar; her Husband, Robert Ellsworth Sumey Sr.; and a Sister, Doris Jane Bricker.
She is survived by Children: Robert Ellsworth Sumey Jr. and April Ann Sumey both of Uniontown, Pennsylvania, James Howard Sumey of California state, Donald Paul Sumey Sr. and his wife Jackie of Uledi, Pennsylvania and Mark Allen Sumey, Hopwood; two Granddaughters; three Grandsons; two Brothers: Robert Riggar of Connellsville, Pennsylvania and William Riggar and wife Maryann of Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania; and Sister, Anna Mae Fowler of Point Marion, Pennsylvania.
Family will receive Friends in the JEROME W. SHELL FUNERAL HOME at 164 South Mount Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, Pennsylvania this evening from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Monday, September 28, 2009 until 11 a.m., the hour of the Service with Pastor Jim Dillinger officiating.
Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pennsylvania.
