Robert E. Baker Sr., age 43, of Dilliner, Pennsylvania died on Wednesday, September 23, 2009, the result of an auto accident. Born in Uniontown, Pa. on December 18, 1965 he was the son of the late William Charles Baker and Patricia (Brady) Baker Waggett.

A skilled mechanic and carpenter who enjoyed working and being outside, he had been employed at CMC Construction and Marty Hughes Construction companies.

Surviving are: his wife, Traci Shubert Baker; three children: Matthew Mitchell, Robert Baker Jr. and April Baker all of Smithfield, Pa.; two step daughters: Paige Shubert and Megan Martin both at home; two grandsons: Matthew Piper and Levi Baker; two brothers and their wives: Floyd Ray and Barbara Brady of Rockville, Maryland and Julius Charles and Angela Baker of Greensboro, Pennsylvania; and by many friends and neighbors.

Friends will be received in the RICHARD R. HEROD FUNERAL HOME, Point Marion, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Monday, September 28, 2009 until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with Pastor Calvin Cox officiating

Interment will follow in Garards Fort Cemetery.

Visitation was also held on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.
