Arthur R. (Pete) Minor, 82, of Brownsville, PA, passed away on Monday, September 28, 2009 at his home. He was born on October 6, 1926 in Brownsville, PA, son of the late John W. and Maude Childs Minor.

Pete was a plumber by trade. He attended the California Baptist Church.

Pete was predeceased by his wife, Martha Bellish Minor two sons, John Minor and Kenneth Minor, one grandson, John Minor Jr., one brother, John Minor, five sisters, Clara Sutton, Elizabeth Henck, Helen Pagac, Martha Easter and Dorothy Dekteroff.

He is survived by his companion and best friend of eight years, Valetta Majoros; five children: Arthur Minor Jr. and his wife, Linda, Ravenna, Ohio, Marilyn Bender and her husband, Greg, Beaver Falls, PA, Daniel Minor, Leesburg, FL, Marsha Rinehart and husband, David, Leesburg, FL, Maryann Kubacki and husband, George, West Brownsville, PA.; ten grandchildren: Lisa Kiskadden, Steven Minor, Marlene Edwards, Kenneth Minor, Terry Bolinger, Danielle Minor, Kenneth Rinehart, Patti Rinehart, Maria Kubacki, George Kubacki; 12 great-grandchildren; special nephew and friend, Frank Henck. Also survived by other nieces and nephews.

There will be no public visitation.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Committal Service on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at 11 AM in LaFayette Memorial Park, Garden of St. Mark with Pastor Todd Rutherford officiating.
