Commentary on China praised
The commentary article Sunday, July 18, by Mr. Griglak was extremely interesting. I have read several articles by Mr. Griglak before and he seems very informed. Having contacts that have kept in touch with him for so many years says something about his character and the trust these people have in him. You can tell from his articles he is very aware, and his message should open the eyes of many of your readers. If China’s economy is growing at a rate of 10 percent each year, we have to look at what is fueling their economy and not ours. It is sad that Americans are investing in Chinese stocks and bonds when we should all be buying American with all our purchases and investments to support our own economy.
I encourage Mr. Griglak to keep writing and keep us informed. You don’t hear a lot of this in the mainstream media. I have picked up small stories here and there in different magazine publications, so I know his information is on target with today’s events. I read where the BYD e6 is an all-electric cross-over car being manufactured in China. It claims to deliver 186 miles with one charge. Sales in Los Angeles are scheduled for late 2010. That’s just what we need, another foreign automotive competitor taking away from our American auto industry and losing more American jobs.
We the people need to be informed and take advantage of all the resources available. We should all be helping put the United States back to being number one and beat this struggling economy we have let deteriorate. Cutting government spending and paying down our debt would be a step in the right direction.
