Fayette County Fair events 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Church Bulletin Day and Pickle Day

Each person with a Sunday, Aug. 1, 2010, church bulletin will be admitted to the fair free until 2 p.m.

Church bulletin admission does not include carnival and outdoor arena.

Upgrade available at the fair office.

7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Weigh-in 4-H market swine.

7a.m. to 2 p.m. Enter open and 4-H beef breeding cattle

7:30 a.m. 4-H dog show (Indoor Arena).

8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Enter poultry, pigeons and rabbits.

9 a.m. Open horse show (Horse Arena).

9 a.m. to noon. Enter Hershey cake and baking chip contest (Youth Building).

9:30 a.m. Interdenominational church service (84 Lumber Stage).

10 a.m. to noon. Weigh-in 4-H market lambs.

12:30 p.m. Gospel sing (Fiddlers Building).

1 p.m. Judging of Hershey chocolate cake and baking chips contest (Youth Building).

1 p.m. to 11 p.m. Carnival opens.

2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Jade Karaoke (Youth Building).

3 p.m. Practice for motocross (Outdoor Arena).

5 p.m. J&D Beer Distributors, Mountain Ridge Golf Cars and Courtesy Oil Co. present motocross races, feature at 7:30 p.m. (Outdoor Arena).

5 p.m. 4-H demonstration contest (Youth Building).

6 to 10 p.m. Jade Karaoke (Youth Building).

6:30 p.m. Herald-Standard presents Mike Bishop, comedy hypnotist (Youth Building).

7:30 p.m. The Pickle 99.3 presents Hotel California “A Salute to the Eagles” (Lady Luck Stage).

8:30 p.m. Herald-Standard presents Mike Bishop, comedy hypnotist (Youth Building).

9:30 p.m. Nemacolin Woodlands Resort & Spa and Powers Great American Midways present fireworks.
