Helen E. Korona Bill
Helen E. Korona Bill, 95, of Wynn, Uniontown, Pennsylvania died Friday, July 30, 2010. She was born March 29, 1915 at Wynn, Pennsylvania daughter of Albert Korona and Antonina Zawilinsky Korona.
She was employed during her lifetime at the Berkowitz Shirt Factory, Kaufman’s Department Store, and The Libby Shop all in Uniontown.
Helen was a volunteer at the Uniontown Hospital.
She was a member of the Polish Heritage Club, Happy Helen’s Club, Ss. Cyril and Methodius Roman Catholic Church, Rosary Altar Society and Confraternity of Christian Mothers.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John S. Bill; sister, Sophia Kosnoski; and three brothers, Frank Korona, Walter Korona and Joseph Korona.
Surviving are her loving children: William V. Bill and wife Marleen, Smock, and Donald Bill and wife Marcy, Uniontown; loving grandchildren: Jeff Bill and wife Stacey, Jennifer Bill and Andrea Bill; and loving great grandchild, Haylee Bill.
Family will receive Friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., today (Monday, August 2, 2010) until 12:30 p.m. when a Prayer Service will be held
A Funeral Mass will follow at 1 p.m. in the Ss. Cyril and Methodius Roman Catholic Church, 50 North Morgantown Street, Fairchance, with the Rev. Father Andrew M. Kawecki as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Fairchance, Pennsylvania.
Visitation was also held on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
Confraternity of Christian Mothers recited the Rosary in the Funeral Home on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. and a Vigil Service was held at 8:30 p.m.
