Police charge Uniontown man following drug raid

By Herald Standard Staff 1 min read

A Uniontown man is behind bars after police raided his home and found illegal drugs and more than $2,000 in cash. Uniontown Officer Jamie Holland said Anthony Pratt Jr., 23, of 73 E. Wine St. was charged before Magisterial District Judge Michael M. Metros with two counts of possession of crack cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with public records following the raid last week.

Uniontown police Detective Donald M. Gmitter said that he secured a search warrant for Pratt’s residence after police received multiple tips regarding suspected drug trafficking at the home.

Gmitter said a team of Uniontown police officers, state constables and members of the Fayette County Drug Task Force raided the residence at 7:26 a.m.
