Wharton Township votes to accept bids on pipe
WHARTON TWP. – Supervisors voted to accept bids for more then 700 feet of pipe at Monday’s meeting. Supervisors Jack Lewis, Joe Henning and Jim Means unanimously agreed to accept bids for 2-foot, 15-foot and 18-foot lengths of pipe.
Henning said he surveyed the township’s currently supply of pipe and said 80 feet of 2-foot pipe, 400 feet of 15-foot pipe and 300 feet of 18-foot pipe is needed.
In other business, supervisors unanimously voted to approve the Braddock Inn subdivision. Supervisors said the request met all township requirements.
Supervisors also voted to pay all outstanding bills and heard no public comments at Monday’s meeting before adjourning.
The next township meeting is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Aug. 16 in the municipal building.
