Fire guts Tower Hill 2 commercial garage
Fire destroyed a commercial garage on Hopewell Road in Tower Hill 2 late Wednesday, the second fire in less than 24 hours in the small community. Officials said no one was injured as the fast-moving blaze swept through the garage.
Volunteer firefighters from Tower Hill 2, Luzerne Township, Adah, Republic, Footedale, Isabella, LaBelle, Edinboro and Hiller responded to the blaze.
Fayette EMS and Hiller Ambulance Service also dispatched to the fire.
The fire came less than 24 hours after a blaze swept through an abandoned home in Tower Hill 2.
No one was injured as a result of that blaze.
Volunteer firefighters from Tower Hill 2, Isabella, Republic, Allison 2 and LaBelle joined emergency personnel from Fayette EMS at the Wednesday morning fire.
It was not clear what sparked either blaze and both remain under investigation.
