Tabitha Jane Wishard of Hephzibah, Ga., and Gregory Clark McWhorter of Atlanta, Ga., were married June 19 at the Hephzibah United Methodist Church in Hephzibah. The Rev. T.G. Hall and the Rev. David Stockton co-officiated the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Randy and Pam Bixler Wishard of Hephzibah, Ga. The bridegroom is the son of Gary and Sherri McWhorter of Rome, Ga.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a strapless A-line gown with a fitted bodice, flowing chiffon skirt with empire waistline accented with lace and ruching details. A pearl headband held a veil with crystal-beaded edges.

Katie Picciano of Augusta, Ga., was maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Kelsey Arthur, Molly Montgomery and Becky Probus, all of Augusta. Flower girls were Abbi Mack, Kadance Mickey and June Yarbrough.

Best man was Gary McWhorter of Rome, Ga.

Groomsmen were Brandon Wishard of Augusta; Drew Greer of Statesboro, Ga., and David Brunson of Augusta. Codie Mack and Isaac Small were ring bearers.

A reception was held at the Blythe Area Recreation Center in Blythe, Ga. The bride is a student at Mercer University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

The bridegroom is a 2007 graduate of Augusta Technical College with an associate degree in automotive technology. He is an automotive technician at Midas in Marietta, Ga.

The couple honeymooned at North Georgia Mountains in Ellijay, Ga.
