Police investigate fight
Uniontown police said they are investigating an incident in which two teenage boys allegedly threatened another group of teenagers with a handgun outside Lafayette School early Thursday. Police said the incident occurred around 1 a.m. when the boys approached a group of juveniles and challenged them to fight.
Officer Frederick Kampert said that when the group of teens refused to physically fight with the two suspects, one of them brandished a handgun and used it to hit a boy in the back of the head.
Kampert said the victim, who was not identified, was taken to Uniontown Hospital for treatment.
He said that the two suspects also broke a window of a vehicle in the area and threatened to kill several other teens.
Kampert said the incident remains under investigation. Police have not released the identity of the teens as the investigation continues.
