William Anthony Pascarell
0005916208-01-1.jpg William Anthony Pascarell, passed away on August 4, 2010. Born November 12, 1934, in Brownsville, Pennsylvania.
He is survived by his sister, Josephine Zupic (NEE: Pascarell) and his long time, loving companion, Veronica Worman.
He was predeceased by his sister, Mary Ann Lucca (NEE: Pascarell), and his parents, William and Sophia Pascarell.
He also had a beloved 10 nieces and nephews, 17 great-nieces and nephews, and seven great-great-nieces and nephews.
Bill was a graduate of Fordham College and Law School. After graduating law school, he proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged with the rank of Captain.
After leaving the Air Force, Bill went to work for the National Labor Relations Board in 1963. He was made Regional Attorney in 1974 and Regional Director of the Newark Office in 1987, serving in that capacity until he retired in 1999. Also during that time, he was an adjunct law professor at Seton Hall and then Rutgers.
He will be fondly remembered as a wonderful and loving brother and uncle and an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan.
Funeral Services will commence Saturday 1 p.m. at the FEENEY FUNERAL HOME, 232 Franklin Avenue, followed by the Funeral Mass at 2 p.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church, both in Ridgewood.
Interment to follow in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA on Wednesday.
