Douglas James Durst
Douglas James Durst, age 52 of Uniontown, Pennsylvania passed away suddenly in his home Saturday, August 7, 2010 He was born March 9, 1958 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania son of the late Darrell D. Durst and Mary (Meosky) Durst.
Doug attended Abundant Life Church.
He graduated from Laurel Highlands High School, Class of 1976.
Doug was a Carpenter for Keffer Construction Company.
Surviving are his fiancee, Monica Nalbone and her children Phillip and Stephanie; these brothers and sisters: Darrell “Dewey” Durst Jr. and wife Jane of Footedale, Pennsylvania, D o l o r e s J. Conklin and husband Walter of New Jersey, M a r i l y n A. Williams and husband Chilly of Hopwood, Pennsylvania, Rita Denny and her husband Robert of Naples, Florida, Mary Ann Richezza and her husband Richard of Hopwood, Pennsylvania, Renae Banko and husband Ed of Masontown Pennsylvania, Lonnie Durst of Hopwood and his girlfriend Barb Hovanec; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood, Pennsylvania on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, August 12, 2010 until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with Rev. Nicholas J. Cook officiating.
Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park Brownfield, Pennsylvania.
