Uniontown man charged with rape to stand trial

A Uniontown man accused of raping a teenage girl at a location in Luzerne Township last month will stand trial. State police in Belle Vernon charged Duane Carnell Darst, 33, with rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault, sexual assault and two counts of corruption of minors for an incident that occurred July 27 in Luzerne Township.

Magisterial District Judge Mike Defino Jr. bound all charges against Darst for Fayette County Court Monday.
