Geraldine Robinson
Geraldine Robinson of Cardale, Pa went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 6, 2010. She was predeceased by her parents: Juriah and Julia Robinson.
Geraldine attended Filbert grade school and Redstone High School. After graduation she moved to New York where she worked at First National Bank. She returned home later to care for her parents and held many jobs. Among her employers were: Avon, Sears, Uniontown Hospital and Brownsville School district where she retired from in 1993. Geraldine also was a member of the Mount Ararat Baptist Church since 1964 where she was a very active member in the choir and as Sunday school teacher.
She leaves to mourn: a cousin Audrey Glover of Chicago Ill.; an adopted daughter Ramona Burney of Uniontown; friends: Sue, Betty, Almira, Ms. Lillian and Ms Miller. and a host other relatives and friends.
Friends will be received at the MOUNT ARARAT BAPTIST CHURCH in Cardale, Pa on Friday, August 13 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Services will be held Saturday August 14 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Richard Calloway officiating. Interment will follow immediately after in the Lafayette Cemetery Brier Hill, Pa.
