RGS to hold sporting clays shoot in Dilliner

The Covered Bridge Chapter of the Ruffed Grouse Society will hold its 4th annual Sporting Clays Shoot Saturday, Aug. 28 at the Hunting Hills Sporting Clays Course in Dilliner. Registration is from 8-10 a.m. with warm-ups available between 8:30-9:45. The main event starts at 10.

Brian Hanna said that registration for the 100-target shoot is $75 and includes a steak dinner, door prizes and awards.

A Corporate Team Package is also available for $450, and that includes a five-person team, dinner for 5, Station Sponsor sign, 1 golf cart and 1st and 2nd place prizes.

Golf carts will be available for $35.

Using the Lewis Class scoring in AA, A, B and C classes, prizes will be awarded for high overall and runner-up.

Proceeds for the event are used to restore and protect grouse and woodcock habitat.
