Woman charged

Dunbar Twp. State police said Kayla Smith, 20, of Scottdale was charged with five counts of retail theft and receiving stolen property for allegedly stealing various video games from the Connellsville Walmart during a time span of July 22 through Monday. Police said the value of all the stolen games was about $3,600. German Twp. Crash reported

State police said vehicles driven by Christina Fabian, 22, of Mill Run and Gary Breakiron, 43, of Fairbank crashed at the intersection of Route 21 and Lardin Farm Road at 8:54 p.m. Monday. Police said Breakiron allegedly fled the scene on foot, but admitted to being the driver of the vehicle on Tuesday. Police said Michelle Nair, 20, of McClellandtown and Allen Myers, 22, of Uniontown were passengers in Fabian and Breakiron’s vehicles, respectively. Police said the crash remains under investigation.

Dunbar Twp. Man cited

Thomas E. Klink of Dunbar Township was cited for harassment for allegedly shoving Pamela Sue Johnson, also of Dunbar Township, during an incident at 4 Maple St. at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday, state police said.

Springfield Twp. Charge filed

State police said James N. Golden, 26, of Normalville was charged with disorderly conduct after he allegedly caused a disturbance in front of 118 Indian Creek Valley Road at 7:53 p.m. Monday.

North Union Twp.

State police said Patti Johnston, 44, of Pittsburgh was charged with retail theft for allegedly attempting to steal a bottle of pain relief medication from the Giant Eagle on Pittsburgh Road at 3:41 p.m. July 22.

German Twp. DUI stop

State police said Dale D. Williams, 67, no address given, was charged with driving under the influence following a traffic stop at the intersection of Route 21 and Ballsinger Road at 2:10 a.m. Tuesday. Charges were filed at the office of Magisterial District Judge Randy Abraham, according to police.

Bullskin Twp. Man injured

State police said Miles J. Crago Jr., 66, of Oliver suffered minor injuries when the motorcycle he was driving and a car driven by Mary C. Shultz, 69, of Normalville crashed on a legislative route near Bear Rocks Road at 5:06 p.m. Monday. Shultz was not injured as a result of the crash, according to police.

Bullskin Twp. Crash reported

State police said a vehicle driven by Susan J. Corgnati, 50, of Bridgeville traveled off Route 119 and crashed into a concrete barrier at 7:45 p.m. Monday. Corgnati was not injured in the crash, police said.

Springhill Twp. Generator stolen

Justin M. Malik, 30, of Springhill Township reported a generator was stolen from a garage at 346 Nilan Hill Road between 4 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. Tuesday, state police said.

Scottdale

Cheri Miller of Scottdale was charged with criminal mischief after she cut an inflatable pool owned by Dawn Brown, also of Scottdale, at Brown’s home on Water Street July 31, state police said.

North Union Twp. Man jailed

State police said Larry E. Angelo, 49, of Uniontown was placed in Fayette County Prison after he allegedly assaulted his 43-year-old wife during an altercation that occurred at the residence, and in the area of, 163 Oliver Road at 11:30 p.m. Sunday. According to police, Angelo assaulted his wife and left the scene. He was later spotted driving on Oliver Road and was taken into custody. He was arraigned on charges of simple assault and driving under the influence and was jailed after failing to post bond, according to police.

East Huntingdon Twp. Crash reported

State police said vehicles driven by Scott Bergman of Ruffsdale and Katherine Eutsey of Scottdale collided on Route 819 at 7:37 a.m. July 20. Police said both drivers suffered injuries.

Hempfield Twp. Clothing stolen

State police said clothing owned by a Dawson resident was stolen from a vehicle parked in Hempfield industrial Park Aug. 2.

Mount Pleasant Twp. Plate stolen

State police said a license plate owned by Reed Kinneer of Acme was stolen from his vehicle while it was parked on Route 31 sometime in July.

Fairchance Report issued

Fairchance police said they fielded 28 calls for service during July, including one domestic dispute, three harassment cases and three reports of theft. Police said they issued 38 traffic citations during the month, as well as seven traffic warnings while patrolling 903 miles. Police said they also issued four non-traffic citations in July.
