Helyn Mlakar, age 89 of Mt. Lebanon, Pa. and formerly of Republic, Pa., passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2010 in Golden Living Center, Mt. Lebanon. She was born April 8, 1921 in Republic, daughter of the late Louis Grantz and Mary (Cservenyicki) Grantz.

Helyn was a member of the Holy Rosary R. C. Church in Republic.

She is survived by a niece and two great-nephews: Denise (Grantz) Bastianini and husband Keith, Vincent and Robert Grlovich.

Friends will be received in DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, New Salem on Saturday, August 14, 2010 from 9 to 10 a.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered in Holy Rosary R. C. Church, Republic at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Stephen R. Bugay as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill.
