Masontown Masontown police said Elmer Engle, 21, of Leckrone was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Engle was pulled over in the borough on Friday, and found to have a blood-alcohol content of .221 percent. Dunbar Twp. Burglary reported

State police said Mark Chernok of Dunbar reported that someone broke into his garage and stole tools on Aug. 12.

North Union Twp. Compressor stolen

State police said Beverly Trader of Hopwood reported someone broke into her storage shed on Woodstock Avenue and stole an air compressor on Aug. 8.

State police said Lance Bastain, no age listed, of Connellsville was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and related offenses following a traffic stop on North Gallatin Avenue on July 11.

Nicholson Twp. Two injured

State police said Judge A. Hileman, 46, of Smithfield and Melissa L. Wargo, 40, of Smithfield were both injured when their vehicles collided on Smithfield Masontown Road around 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

South Union Twp. Two charged

State police said Tammy Lynn Hawk, 41, and Robin Denese Hairston, 46, both of Uniontown, were each charged with retail theft after allegedly stealing something from Sears in the Uniontown Mall on July 11. No further information was available from police.

South Union Twp. Wallet stolen

State police said Delarae Lee Kronick, 41, of Brownsville reported that money was missing from her wallet after she left it in the parking lot of Walmart on Aug. 5.

South Union Twp. Damage reported

State police said Ronald Matthews Marovich of Hopwood reported that someone used an unknown object to cause about $400 damage to his vehicle on Saturday.

Bullskin Twp. Accident reported

State police said Janice M. Collins, 53, of Connellsville sustained a minor injury when the motorcycle she was operating struck a fence around 6:45 p.m. Saturday.

North Union Twp. Damage reported

Sean Twele, 23, of Brownsville reported that someone damaged his vehicle while it was parked on Washington Street between Saturday afternoon and Sunday evening, state police said.

Georges Twp. Window broken

Tina Marie Lekavich reported that someone pulled a cable wire from the window of her home on Rose Drive on Aug. 13, breaking the window, state police said.

Springhill Twp. Rock thrown

State police said Lindsay L. Sutton reported that someone threw a rock at the window of her home on Outcrop Road early Saturday.

Dunbar Twp. Accident reported

State police said Michael J. Hamilla, 18, of Smithfield was uninjured when he lost control of his car and hit a pole on West Crawford Avenue around 9:35 p.m. Aug. 9.

South Union Twp. Teen charged

State police said a 17-year-old Smithfield boy was charged with stealing a vehicle belonging to Karen Martin of Hopwood and Bobbie Trump of Adah.

Police said the theft occurred on July 29.

Fairchance Three charged

State police said Amanda Tanner, 21, of Fairchance, Tara Fazenbaker, 24, of Lemont Furnace and Kevin Tanner, 44, of Fairchance were each charged with harassment after they got into a fight at 10 Mill Lane early Saturday.

South Union Twp. Man cited

State police said Donald Sumey Jr., 20, of Uledi was cited for harassment after he allegedly pushed someone.

Police did not identify that person.

Belle Vernon Damage reported

Southwestern Regional police said someone broke into the dugout announcer’s box at Brewer Stadium between Saturday evening and Monday morning.

Police said there was damage to the door and window shutter, along with graffiti drawn at the concession and condiment table.

Belle Vernon Wallet stolen

Southwestern Regional police said that Kimberly Malec of Wood Street, Belle Vernon, reported that her wallet was stolen from her car while it was parked at her residence Monday afternoon.

State police in Waynesburg said Jonathan Snyder, 25, of Waynesburg was charged with criminal mischief after he allegedly cut the phone lines to the Birch Avenue home of Spring King, 34, of Waynesburg on Saturday.

Belle Vernon Break-ins reported

Southwestern Regional police said Cindy Pelzer of Market Street reported that someone broke into two of her cars and tried to break into her mobile home on Monday afternoon.

Police said various items were stolen from the cars.

Franklin Twp. Burglary investigated

State police in Waynesburg said that Anita Stoner of Waynesburg reported that someone broke into her home on Crago Avenue between Aug. 7 and 13 and stole about $350 worth of items.

Dunkard Twp. Damage reported

Terri Lea Johnson of Dilliner reported that someone smashed a window at her home on Holbert Stretch with a concrete block on Saturday.

Jefferson Twp. Burglary investigated

State police in Waynesburg said someone broke into the Jefferson BP station around 3:15 a.m. Monday, and stole food, cigarettes and cash.

Franklin Twp. Man injured

David Bennett II, 25, of Waynesburg sustained minor injuries when he lost control of his car trying to avoid hitting a deer on Apple Hill Road around 10:50 p.m. Monday.
